The Queensland State Team consists of both the Open and Youth Team. Each team is selected from the top performing athletes in the State Lead and Boulder Titles each year. These athletes then compete at the national championships annually to gain a place on the Australian Climbing Team.

Selection Policies

The State Titles for Lead and Boulder are the Queensland state selection events. Please see the selection policies below. If you would like to apply to be on either the open or youth team, please fill out an application form.
